Institute for Terrestrial and Aquatic Wildlife Research
The Institute for Terrestrial and Aquatic Wildlife Research (ITAW) is part of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. Research efforts target biology and ecology of wild animals and influence of anthropogenic activities on different species. Current research focusses on diseases in wild animals, habitat use, wildlife behavior, nutrition and management, both in terrestrial and aquatic species.
